Description
Spring nights can be as alive with activity as the day, with frogs croaking, the whistle of ducks speeding north and the wail of coyotes in the distance. The constellation Cygnus, the Swan, sweeps up out of the north-east about midnight and is a backdrop to the dance of the Northern Lights.
This painting depicts the same view as “April Flood / Swans” only 12 hours later with the nearly full moon and the Aurora to illuminate the beauty of the night.
