Description
Bohemian Waxwings are my favourite birds – their intelligence and social behaviour is fascinating. They take note of the locations of all berry bushes, crab apples and Mountain Ash trees in their territory and clean the dried fruit off of them in winter.
Mid-March the pickings are getting slim and the birds are at the end of the branches where they can sometimes be seen passing berries beak-to-beak so that all are fed.
