Description
Farms in the great Parklands of North America, usually have trees and brush on their field edges that act as wonderful habitat for all types of creatures. The great northern plains are sectioned a half mile by half mile which leaves the countryside criss-crossed with these shelterbelts. On a fine day when March has decided to go out as a Lamb rather than a Lion, a small flock of Sharptail grouse returns to the field’s edge with the distinctive flutter and glide of their kind, to feast on spilled grain and meltwater.
