Description
Its 7:30 in the early summer morning on a serene lake in Northern Canada. Some Canvasback drakes enjoy the warm sun as lake mist lingers in the shadows along the shore. Unfortunately, quiet time is over as the big “Ducks” start a day of lake skimming and fire bombing. The Canadair CL-215 – Canada’s contribution to Stealth Technology, was largely unsuccessful in its intended role. It was saved from oblivion when it was discovered that it made a first class Amphibious Fire Fighting and Marine Utility Aircraft. Secure in it’s new job, it serves around the world.
